CuTe DSL
CuTe DSL provides a Python-based way to express supported CuTe and CUTLASS kernel constructions that compile to GPU code.
How it works
Python is the authoring environment; the device executes generated kernels. Authors still reason about layouts, tiling, synchronization and architecture-specific instructions. Compilation and specialization can affect startup and artifact caching.
Work through an example
Changing a compile-time tile choice can produce a new specialization. Benchmark that kernel after compilation, while separately recording how much startup work the application paid.
Where the term can mislead
CuTe DSL is not cuTile Python. Similar names and Python syntax do not make their programming models or APIs interchangeable.
